-PEOPLE I KNOW-

An exquisite food blog from Esther Kang. I occasionally review hamburger joints on this blog too.
An exciting new video game I did a little work on. The brain child of friend/collaborator Abe Scheuermann.
Collaborator and funny man, Kellen Cutsforth brings you spies... in space... that are more like ninjas...
Art from the extremely talented old friend of mine.
My good friend and an amazing photographer.
You hungry? If not, Jen Munkvold will make you hungry with her delicious photos!
The lovely and talented Steph Davies! An old friend with an amazing voice and great art!
Photographer extraordinaire and all around nice guy.
One of the nicest and hardest working people I know also happens to be on of the most talented. Check out his videos, comics and other stuff.
An old web piece, again from the hilarious John Wright II.

-COMICS & ART -

Great comics. Nice guy. Check em' out!
Tom's book 'Runoff' has gotten great reviews. And with good reason. It's one of those rare pieces that manages to thrill you, scare you, entertain you, and confuse you all at once. His book Eric is also a trip. Literally.
Beth can make you see everything you need to see in a comic in the most efficient and effective ways. She is on her way to greatness.
Just raw talent on display in Michael's work. The mood captured in his 'Jetsam' collection is somber and powerful. The lighting alone will take your breath away. Gorgeous stuff!
Will's prints and webcomics are that perfect kind of simple I wish I knew how to do. His use of composition and humor are top notch.
Crazy graphic work in the vein of the Chicago Imagists. Gotta love it.
Reid's comics have a graphic quality that puts me in mind of Charles Burns. He is also quite the painter and knows his tools.
Miriam's series 'Jobnik!' follows her time with the Israeli army. I generally am not a huge fan of autobio stuff, but Miriam pushes social relevance without sounding self-important.
Jed's use of brush and ink is reminiscent of Herge' and Geof Darrow. His paintings have an epic, but clean quality that suck you in like few can.
Sophia is a winner of the illustriuous Xeric Grant with her book 'The Deformitory'. It takes you on that trip from 'huh?' to teary eyes that few comics can.
Her work is Concise, striking, beautiful, and intriguing.
Grant's wonderfully visceral and inky work would be right at home in Zap comics.
A funny funny man.
